Silk Care Guide
ANNA LACE silk care guide. These instructions are suitable for most ANNA LACE silk pieces; always follow the care label attached to your exact product.
Silk Care
General care
- Hand wash in cool water, max. 30 °C.
- Use a gentle detergent for silk or wool. Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
- Wash separately, especially dark or bright colours.
- Do not wring or twist. Press out water gently with a clean towel.
- Dry flat or hang carefully away from direct sunlight and heat.
- Iron on low heat from the reverse side, preferably while slightly damp.
- Professional dry cleaning is allowed when needed.
By product type
- Silk robes, pajamas and nightgowns: hand wash gently or use professional dry cleaning. Take extra care with lace, elastic and delicate trims.
- Silk pillowcases: hand wash for best longevity. If machine washing is used, use a mesh bag, cold delicate cycle and mild detergent only.
- Silk scrunchies and headbands: hand wash gently. Do not twist the elastic. Reshape and dry flat.
- Silk scarves: avoid perfume, deodorant and makeup directly on the fabric. Steam lightly or iron from the reverse side.
- Silk organza accessories: wash only when needed, handle very gently, do not rub, and reshape while damp.
Storage
Store silk clean and dry, away from direct sunlight. Use breathable storage rather than sealed plastic.
